The Taste of Competition

To celebrate the hard work and dedication that goes into creating the largest competition of American wines in the world, the San Francisco Chronicle Wine Competition Public Tasting offers everyone from consumers to connoisseurs to taste the best of the best – and it’s not limited simply to the country’s finest wines.

Fine wine and delectable food is a natural relationship that the Public Tasting emphasizes every year. As they continue to raise the bar with a record number of wine entries, they also anticipate even more incredible mouth-watering treats for the ultimate tasting experience.

Regional gourmet website SavorCalifornia.com, specializing in specialty foods and beverages, has arranged for many of its partners to provide their exclusive fare. Staff and students from the California Culinary Academy will be preparing delicious morsels utilizing the finest quality ingredients donated by supporting partners, while the Santa Rosa Junior College Culinary Arts students will be showing off their skills with gourmet hors d’oeuvres.
