SavorCalifornia.com Launches

Website Showcases Specialty Foods

Healdsburg, CA, December 15, 2003 . . . Food lovers everywhere now have a one-stop, online resource for information about whats good, whos making it and places to find it.

SavorCalifornia.com is launching with a focus on the amazingly diverse Sonoma County specialty food producers. However, SavorCalifornia.com will always be changing and growing. In the coming weeks Sonoma County producers will continue to be added to the group that is already on the site. Other regions of California are also in development and will be coming on line in 2004: Mendocino, Napa, San Francisco and others. Any place in California where artisans are making wonderful foods.

The website is structured so that visitors can navigate easily using directories sorted by product category or directories sorted by geographical area, or they can do a key word search.

Each specialty food producer has their own page, with their story and all their contact data. Sidebars on the individual producers pages include recipes, serving suggestions, quotes and seasonal specialties. The sidebars will change frequently, providing yet another reason for frequent visits to the site.

Quotations from the famous and not-so-famous are scattered throughout SavorCalifornia.com, adding a touch of humor to the already very pleasurable subject of food.

Consumers will discover new products, new ways to serve a product, or the source for a product theyve tried and liked. At this time of year, if they wish they knew what to give Aunt Susie, they can shop for edible gifts made by the producers on SavorCalifornia.com.
