Tuber Tonic Latte

1 heaping teaspoonTuber Tonic
¾ cupMilk
DashGround true Ceylonese cinnamon *

 

Bring 1 cup of water to a boil. Add Tuber Tonic, and boil for 3 to 5 minutes.

Heat milk to scalding, but do not boil.

Whisk milk rapidly to make it foamy, or use a frothed or latte machine. Pour into a 12 ounce (or larger) mug.

Fill the mug with Tuber Tonic, straining through a sieve as you pour.

Shake cinnamon on top for a sweetening effect.

* Compared to the more common cassia cinnamon, true cinnamon is lighter in color, tastes slightly sweeter and has a more fragrant aroma. True cinnamon does cost more.
