Heirloom Caprese Salad with Berry Olive Dressing

4 mediumFresh heirloom tomatoes
1 whole bunchFresh basil
1 roundBuffalo mozzarella
4 ouncesFarmhouse Lab Berry Olive Salad Dressing
Fresh crushed black pepper, optional

 

Wash and dry the tomatoes and basil.

Cut the tomatoes into big, round chunks for a dinner salad, or chopped for an appetizer. Cut the basil by rolling the leaved and cut across into ribbons, or chop.

Pat the mozzarella with a dry, clean kitchen towel and cut into rounds similar in size to the tomatoes.

Place tomatoes in the bottom of a salad bowl. Place the mozzarella on top and add basil.

Drizzle dressing over everything. Top with pepper, if desired.

Serves 4 as a dinner salad.
