Avocado Soup

2 mediumRipe avocados, halved and pitted
¾ cup Buttermilk
½ cupPlain yogurt
2 tablespoonsFresh lime juice
DashSartain's Menu The Sauce
½ cup (or to taste)Canned low-salt chicken broth
Red onion, finely chopped

 

Scrape avocados from skin into processor. Add buttermilk and yogurt; purée until smooth.

Mix in lime juice and hot sauce. With machine running, blend in 1/2 cup broth, more or less according to desired consistency.

Season with salt and pepper.

Chill soup until cold.

Spoon into bowls. Garnish with onion.

Note:
Can be made 1 day ahead. Cover and keep chilled.
