Tropical Tri-Tip Skewers with Zena's SASS

6-8 ounces per personTri-tip, trimmed and cut into 1-1/2" cubes
Zena's Sassy Peanut-Sesame Sauce, Regular of HOTT!
Pineapple chunks
Red onion"squares"
Bamboo skewers, soaked in water for at least 1 hour


Place cubed tri-tip in a deep dish with Zena’s Sassy Peanut-Sesame Sauce. Toss to coat; cover and marinate in refrigerator for at least 24 hours.

Just before preparing skewers, toss pineapple and onion with the beef to coat with marinade.

When ready to cook, thread skewers with a chunk of pineapple, a ‘square’ of red onion, a cube of tri-tip. Repeat until all the meat is on skewers.

Heat the grill to 375 degrees; then place skewers over direct heat, turning as they sear on each side. Grill to your preference.

Serve with nutty-flavored rice and your favorite green salad, which would be great dressed with Zena’s Sassy Peanut-Sesame Sauce and a few chopped peanuts.
