Mixologist Kerri Bacon at Billy O’s Restaurant & Saloon in Ventura, California, won a competition with this drink.

2 heaping teaspoons Earl's Gone Wild Jalapeño Jam
SqueezeLemom
1 teaspoonFire-roasted jalapeños
Water and ice
2 ouncesWoodford Reserve Bourbon
Lemon twist

 

Muddle the jam, lemon juice and fire-roasted jalapeños.

Add a little bit of water, which helps to mix and brighten the flavors.

Add ice cubes.

Add Woodford Reserve Bourbon.

Garnish with a twist of lemon.

Serves 1.
