Sticky Sweet Grill Glaze: The secret recipe from the Sauce Goddess’s Dad. A sweet BBQ sauce with no smoky flavor, excellent on pork ribs, chicken, ham veggies and fish especially salmon. Also a dip, on sandwiches and delicious baked beans.
Sweet & Spicy Grill Glaze: A BBQ sauce based on the Sticky Sweet recipe, with less sugar and a sneaky hint of heat (Cayenne). Great for sloppy joes, shrimp, BBQ chicken pizza, wings, quesadillas and dip.
Big & Tangy Sauce: Very different than the other two sauces, a tangier flavor with a mild spicy kick, not sweet. It makes a flavorful and tangy catsup, meatloaf, chili, pasta sauce, BBQ and a fabulous Bloody Mary. Now Gluten-Free.
Sweet Red Devil Sauce: Red Sevina Habanero makes this sauce very hot with a fruity flavor. Sweet taste, then a burst of heat. Excellent very spicy sauce for grilling, dipping and as a condiment on sandwiches, wraps and burgers.
The Sauce Goddess Family of Spices Rubs
All are Vegan, all natural, preservative free. We just use the ingredients needed for flavor, no anti-caking additives. Great little stackable tins.
Original Super Chunk: All-purpose seasoning. Great on chicken, pork, halibut, potatoes, asparagus, dip mixed with sour cream. Flavored with mustard seeds, fennel, thyme, garlic, onion.
Moroccan Twist: Similar to a curry. Terrific on lamb, chicken, pork eggplant, and apples. Smells sweet but contains no sugar and is fairly low in sodium. The main flavor you taste is cardamom, allspice and cumin.
Latin Heat: Similar to a chorizo seasoning. It’s got a wonderful aroma and flavor. Great on steak, pork, eggs, fish, veggies, dips with sour cream. Contains-cumin, oregano, 3 types of chile, salt, pepper, garlic, onion and paprika.
BBQ Sweet Heat: Spicy all purpose seasoning. Use in place of red pepper flakes on shrimp, chicken, pork, steak, and a veggie dip with sour cream. Contains-brown sugar, chile peppers, allspice, salt, pepper, garlic, onion and paprika.

Although Jennifer Reynolds was born in San Diego, she grew up in the Midwest, and the flavors of Midwestern barbeque come through in her sauces. "When I demo the sauces, folks from the Midwest tell me that it reminds them of home, but it's also got the heat of the Southwest in it.”
While they were living in Chicago, Jennifer’s father started experimenting with his own barbeque sauce for family get-togethers. “He was in search of a non-smoky barbeque sauce. He had a basic recipe but at any time, he could open the fridge and say, ‘Okay, what should I add to it this time?’ Needless to say, it wasn’t always the same,“ Jennifer laughs. "He refined the recipe over the years, but he would never tell me exactly what was in it. It was a long time before he would let me measure what he put into it,” Jennifer remembers. “I wanted to make it for my friends, but I just couldn’t seem to get it exactly like his.”
When Jennifer’s father let her write down the recipe, that became the starting point for her own experimentation. “He’s a fan of my sauces, but he doesn’t use the peppers and garlic like I do, and he's not a fan of anything spicy, so that version is not his favorite.”
With a group of good friends who frequently gathered together for dinners, Jennifer was always expected to bring chicken wings or ribs – anything, as long as it had her barbeque sauce.
“I often heard, ‘Jen, you’ve gotta do something with this sauce,’ so I took the big leap.” In 2004 she made another big change. She reformulated the recipe to use all natural ingredients. She also made it low sodium, preservative-free and vegan. She’s now reformulated the Big & Tangy Sauce so it is gluten-free.
“This business is a lot of work, but we also have a lot of fun with it. My family is so enthusiastic about the sauce. My future brother-in-law loves baby back ribs with the sauce on it so much, that when I fly back to visit them in Buffalo, I have to lug a gallon with me. I have pretty heavy check-in luggage!”
Even when her nephews were little kids, they loved Sauce Goddess barbeque sauce. “Now they are a big marketing asset. When we visited Disneyland, they wore their Sauce Goddess t-shirts. And walking around a tailgate party at a baseball game, they were eating ribs and hamming it up, calling out ‘Wow! This Sauce Goddess is really good!’ With a fan club like that, I’m set!”
