North Carolina Style BBQ Sauce

1 bottleSonoma Syrup Apple Cider Vinegar
¼ cupBrown sugar
3 tablespoonsKetchup
¼ cupHoney
Kosher salt
2 tablespoonsCrushed red pepper flakes
1 ½ teaspoonsFreshly ground black pepper
1 teaspoonFresh garlic puree
1 teaspoonOnion powder

 

Heat the vinegar and brown sugar in a saucepan over medium heat until the sugar dissolves.

Turn heat to low and stir in the ketchup, honey, salt, red pepper, black pepper, garlic and onion powder.

Simmer for three minutes.

Serve with BBQ Brisket.
