Dried Plums with Bacon & Goat CheeseRecipe created by Georgeanne Brennan. Photo courtesy of California Dried Plum Board. 12 | Taylor Brothers Dried Pitted Plums | 5 ⅓ ounces | Goat cheese | 3 slices | Bacon | | Divide the goat cheese into 12 equal portions.
Cut the bacon into twelve 2-inch pieces.
Make a lengthwise slit in each dried plum and spoon a portion of cheese into slit; wrap with a piece of bacon. Secure bacon with wooden pick.
Arrange on a medium grill or in a broiler pan. Broil 3 to 4 inches from heat 6 to 8 minutes or until browned and barely crisp, turning once. Serve hot or warm.
Serves 6 as an appetizer. | |
