A twist on mac and cheese combining spicy and salty, with a dash of sweetness.
1 cup | Uncooked macaroni |
2 teaspoons | Salt |
4 ounces (about 1 cup, packed) | Sharp cheese, shredded |
2 tablespoons | Cowboy BBQ Sweet and Spicy Jalape�o Relish |
½ cup | Milk |
½ teaspoon | Salt |
Dash | Pepper |
| Paprika |

Drop macaroni with salt into 3 cups rapidly boiling water. Bring back to rapid boil.
Cook, stirring constantly, for 3 minutes.
Cover with a tight-fitting lid, remove from heat, and let stand 10 minutes. Rinse with hot water. Drain.
Heat oven to 350.
Place alternativing layers of macaroni, cheese, and jalape�o relish in greased 1-quart baking dish. Sprinkle each layer with the salt and pepper. Add milk.
Sprinkle the top with paprika.
Bake 35 to 45 minutes, until golden brown on top.
